Visitors get to experience the ‘korowai/cloak of silence’ walk with dinosaurs, gather a food basket and put together a first aid kit with ingredients supplied by nature. Learn to weave a harakeke/flax bracelet or carve a taonga/treasure from pumice, and sing a Maori waiata/song.
Overnight & Under the Stars The Aotearoa Safaris cabin can be found in a relaxing, stress free location which is supported by the beauty and peace of nature.
Situated on private forest & farm land that can be accessed off State Highway 41, halfway between Taumarunui and Lake Taupo. It is easily accessible from National Park, Turangi, Taupo, Taumarunui, Chateau Tongariro, & Mt Ruapehu skifields.

Accommodation at Aotearoa Safaris cabin is made up of open plan room with two bunk beds, two fold down couches and double room. There is one toilet and shower, plus outdoor hot tub.
